In September 2006 we were pleased to welcome Darren Putland to the Hansens team to take on the role of leading our new financial planning division. Darren works under the trading name of Financial Wisdom and has his own team of three (Lecia, Andy and Rebecca) working with him. Darren works under the trading name of Financial Wisdom and has his own team of three (Lecia, Andy and Rebecca) working with him.Darren’s Profile Darren spent the first 10 years of his working life in the commercial finance sector working for a private finance company assisting mainly medium to large businesses with Commercial lending facilities. Darren had the opportunity to travel Australia with this company working in a role as business co-coordinator before taking on the role of State Manager for South Australia and Northern Territory in 1996. From here Darren was head hunted by Westpac Banking Corporation to assist them in the commencement of their business financial planning division in Melbourne, Victoria. Darren soon become one of Westpac’s top performing advisers and headed up the Estate Planning Division of Westpac Private Banking Sector in Melbourne. In 2006 Darren left Westpac to commence his own Financial Planning practice and has had an immediate impact in the private and commercial sector due to his knowledge of Estate Planning. In November 2007 Darren was recognised for his outstanding advice in the areas of Risk Insurance and Superannuation when he won the national Financial Wisdom “The Value of Advice Financial Planning Award”.
