About Us
Harold Hansen was a founder of Greenfield Fox Hansens in 1973.
In 1992 Harold attended a seminar which opened his eyes to some non-traditional opportunities that his firm could pursue that could have fantastic results for its clients. Unfortunately this change in direction was not supported by his then partners and Harold decided to breakaway and establish his own firm and on 1 July 1997 Hansens was born.
In early 1998 Harold invited Trevor Schoenmaekers and Lisa Stribley to join him as partners of the firm and on July 1 2002 Brett Hansen joined them as partner.
Today our 4 Partners and our growing team of Accountants and Support staff are dedicated to driving business forward and inspiring you to greater heights. Most of our team members have been recruited to Hansens as graduates and trained intensively on the skills required.
We’re not your typical accounting firm. We pride ourselves on thinking outside the square and doing more than just annual taxation and accounting work. Many accountants see the tax return as the end of the client process; however, we see it as the beginning. Of course if it’s just a tax return you’re after we’re more than happy to do that in a fast and accurate manner.
We’re different! Most accounting firms charge clients a fee by the hour and provide them with an invoice at the end of the month for the work that was undertaken. Here at Hansens we provide each client with a ‘Fee Proposal’ prior to any work being undertaken. In doing so we eliminate many issues, the client knows exactly what will be involved, how much it will cost and when to expect it.
We specialise in many services including Accounting and Taxation, Structuring, Financing, Business Advice, Bookkeeping, Superannuation and Wealth Creation.
